Julia Denisse L. has extensive experience in grant administration and social services, currently serving as the Interim Director of Grant Administration for the City of McAllen, TX, since December 2019. Previously, Julia held the position of Assistant Director of Grants Administration in the same city and was a Program Manager and Social Services Coordinator for the City of Brownsville, Texas. Earlier in their career, Julia worked as a Sales Associate for State Farm and held various roles at the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College, culminating in the position of Senior Financial Aid Officer. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and an Associate of Arts in General Studies, both from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
