Eric Domonell, PE, currently serves as an Assistant Project Manager and Project Engineer specializing in Civic Spaces at McAdams since March 2020. Previously, Eric held the position of Project Manager at Giles Flythe Engineers from May 2019 to March 2020 and worked as a Bicycle & Pedestrian Project Engineer at Stewart from May 2017 to April 2019. Eric's career began with roles as a Structural Engineer at Stroud Pence Structural Engineers and as a Research Assistant at NC State University, where research focused on fracture mechanics. Earlier experience includes analysis and design roles at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc., as well as internships and work in construction. Eric earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and completed graduate coursework in Structural Engineering at North Carolina State University, following a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
