Peter Zahos is an accomplished creator, host, and medical professional with extensive experience in neurosurgery and entrepreneurship. Currently, Zahos serves as the Creator and Host of The Life Medical Podcast and as a Venture Advisor at MBX Capital. As a member of the neurosurgery faculty at New York Medical College, Zahos also leads Discogen as CEO, focusing on noninvasive treatments for spinal disc degeneration. With a robust background, Zahos has held significant roles, including Venture Partner at FundRx, Associate Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery at UCSF, and Medical Director at the Herman Center for Neurosciences. Zahos' clinical expertise encompasses functional neurosurgery and spinal surgery, developed through prior positions as a neurosurgeon at Meridian Health and Chairman of Neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Zahos holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University, with additional training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
