Jesleigh Johari is an experienced banking professional currently serving as the Group Chief Operating Officer at MBSB Bank Berhad since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jesleigh held various positions at Standard Chartered Bank from September 2006 to December 2021, including Director roles in Client Delivery and Process Governance within Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking, as well as leadership positions in SME Banking Operations and Financial Market Operations. Jesleigh’s responsibilities spanned client onboarding, operational risk management, governance of service delivery, and strategic planning, contributing significantly to multiple divisions within Standard Chartered. Jesleigh began a career in banking as a Trade Document Checker at Standard Chartered GBS and holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania and a Diploma in Commerce from INTI.
