Tobias Ritter has a varied work experience beginning in 2013 as a Beach Lifeguard for Galway County Council. In 2016, they were an Apprentice for Alutec GmbH and a Filmmaker and Co-Founder for Aerborn Media. In 2017, they were a Student Engineer for Renishaw Ireland and Chairperson for NUIG EngSoc. From 2019 to 2022, they held the roles of Professional Engineer, Graduate Mechanical Engineer, and IComp Funded Research Assistant for ESB Networks and Mechanical Design Engineer for MBRYONICS.

Tobias Ritter's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway between 2014 and 2018, followed by a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university between 2018 and 2019. Tobias also holds several certifications, including an Irish Water Safety Beach Lifeguard Provider (obtained in September 2018), Autodesk Inventor Level Professional (obtained in November 2016), Irish Water Safety Instructor (obtained in December 2015), Pool Lifeguard (obtained in March 2012), Cardiac First Responder (obtained in January 2017), and Beach Lifeguard (obtained in March 2013).
