Stephen Downer is an Associate Attorney at Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, LLC since November 2023, with a prior role as an Assistant District Attorney at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office from March 2021 to June 2023. Downer also served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office from October 2019 to March 2021, where responsibilities included managing over 100 felony cases and daily prosecution in Criminal District Court. Legal education was garnered at Paul M. Hebert Law Center, culminating in a J.D./D.C.L. degree in 2019, and a Bachelor of Arts in History was earned from Louisiana State University in 2016.
