Don Robbins, CMTSE, has a diverse work history spanning over 25 years. Don began their career in the US Navy, serving as a Torpedoman's Mate 3rd Class. In this role, they led torpedo operations and was responsible for maintaining and repairing torpedo launching systems.
After leaving the Navy, Don transitioned to the manufacturing industry, working as a CNC Machinist at Ariel Corporation for nine years. During this time, they gained expertise in setup, programming, and operation of various CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
Don then advanced to become a Machining/Manufacturing Supervisor at Ariel Corporation, where they provided leadership, implemented continuous improvement initiatives, and tracked performance metrics.
In 2014, Don joined Arconic as a Machining Operations Supervisor/Manager, overseeing a team of over 140 staff members. Don developed and executed production schedules and achieved significant cycle time improvements through effective management of process engineers and CNC programmers.
Don later joined Arthrex as a Manufacturing Supervisor, where they supervised operations and ensured adherence to production objectives and quality standards.
Most recently, Don joined Mazak North America as a Direct Sales Account Manager, where they utilize their extensive industry knowledge and experience to build client relationships and drive sales.
Don Robbins, CMTSE received their education in business administration, management and operations from Mount Vernon Nazarene University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended the Ohio State University, COTC Business And Industry Institute in 2005, where they studied leadership development. In addition to their education, Don Robbins has also obtained the Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer (CMTSE) certification from AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology.
