John Jackson, Ph.D., serves as a Principal Data Science Analyst at Mayo Clinic since August 2022, focusing on the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in cardiovascular medicine. Prior to this role, John was the Chief AI Engineer at Crosscope, where leadership of the AI/Data Science team led to the development of cancer detection models. John also provided consulting services through John Jackson Consulting, assisting medical imaging companies with technical training and strategic planning from 2010 to 2021. A background at GE Healthcare saw John as Principal Engineer, designing cardiac scanning features for the Revolution CT system, while earlier roles included Senior Product Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions, where John led innovations in automated cardiac image analysis.
