Gregory Gores possesses extensive experience in the field of medicine, specifically in hepatology and gastroenterology. Currently serving as Editor in Chief of Hepatology at Mayo Clinic since June 1986, Gregory Gores also holds positions as Professor of Medicine and Executive Dean for Research, overseeing research regulatory policies and faculty appointments. Previous roles include Chair of the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Seminars in Liver Disease and Co-Editor in Chief at the American Gastroenterological Association. Gregory Gores has also contributed to the International Liver Cancer Association and served on the governing board of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences, obtained between 1976 and 1980.
