Bill Britten has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Bill started in 1997 as a Director for Hewland/Sky's "Dream Team" and went on to work as a Writer and Director for Cronk Dromgoole in 1998. In 1999, they joined Coastal/STV as a Director for "The Last Musketeer". Bill then worked as a Director for ITV's "Night & Day" in 2001 and for BBC's "Holby City" in 2002. In 2004, they served as a Director for Granada TV Kids' "The New Worst Witch" and as a Lecturer in Acting and Directing for Camera at Drama Centre, Central St. Martin's College of Art & Design. In 2006, they became the Director for Granada TV Kids' "My Parents are Aliens". Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Influencing Skills Coach for Maynard Leigh Associates and under their own name in the same year. Bill's most recent role is as a Lecturer in Acting and Directing for Camera at Drama Centre, Central St. Martin's College of Art & Design, a position they have held since 2004.

Bill Britten attended the University of Oxford from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in Psychology. From 1984 to 1987, they studied at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, focusing on Acting.
