Pawan Prakash Sharma has been working in the software industry since 2010. Pawan Prakash started off as an Intern at IIIT Hyderabad in 2010. Pawan Prakash then moved on to Software Developer at Citrix Systems in 2011, where they worked on the NetScaler ADC product. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer at Adap.tv, where they were part of the adserver team responsible for delivering ads programmatically. In 2015, they joined CloudByte as an Associate Architect and Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2017, they joined MayaData (now acquired by DataCore Software) as a Software Architect and Associate Architect, where they worked on the cstor storage engine and the node-disk-manager project.

Pawan Prakash Sharma obtained a B.Tech in Computer Science from MNNIT between 2007 and 2011.
