Lorna Weston-Smyth has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Lorna started their career as a Tel-Sell Department employee at Yellow Pages in 1977. Lorna then went on to become an owner of a custom seamstress business in 1982 and later owned a business called My Little Princess from 1986 to 1991. Following that, Lorna worked as a temporary worker at Kelly Services from 1991 to 2000. In 2000, they became the Principal Painter and Urban Artist at Specialty Paint Finishes, where they offered custom paint and plaster finishes. Lorna joined Forbes Coaches Council as an official member in 2016. Lorna also founded their own coaching and training business called Lorna Weston-Smyth Coaching and Training, where they worked as the Founder and Principal Executive Coach. Lorna provided coaching services and offered speaking and training sessions tailored to individual and organizational needs. Additionally, Lorna facilitated Mastermind Training groups. In 2011, Lorna became a Founding Member at Maxwell Leadership and took on various roles, including Executive Partner to the EVP of the Entrepreneurial Solutions Group, English Faculty, Executive Program Facilitator, and Maxwell Method of DISC Trainer and Consultant. Overall, Lorna brings a wealth of experience in leadership, coaching, training, and entrepreneurship to their work.

Lorna Weston-Smyth has a diverse education history with a focus on leadership, communication, and personal development. In 2011, they completed the Maxwell Leadership Certification Program, earning the title of Certified Trainer, Speaker, and Leadership Coach. In the same year, they also obtained a certification in the Maxwell Method DISC, specializing in DISC Personality and Behavior Assessments. Lorna further enhanced their skills by completing the Simon Sinek Start With Why Facilitator Training in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued the Les Brown Speaker Training, specializing in Edutainment. Additionally, Lorna received training in general painting, decorative paint, and plaster finishes from Ritins Studios in 2000. Lorna continues to expand their knowledge and skills through additional certifications, such as The Six Types of Working Genius Certification and various leadership achievements from Toastmasters International.
