Silvia Ronchi is currently a Scientific Application Specialist at MaxWell Biosystems. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich from February 2017 to October 2021. During that time, they also completed a Master Thesis Project titled "Single Neuron Electrical Stimulation by High-Density Microelectrode Arrays" from July 2016 to December 2016. Before that, they were a Bachelor Thesis Project at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche from July 2014 to October 2014 where they worked on modeling and experimental characterization of two passive charge division circuits as low power readout systems for large area silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) array.
Silvia Ronchi received their PhD in Neuroscience and Electrophysiology from ETH Zürich. Silvia also holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, as well as a Clinical Engineering certification from the same school. In addition, they have a certification from the University of Zurich in LTK Module 1: Introductory Course in Laboratory Animal Science.
