Patrick Wang has over 20 years of work experience. From 1998 to 2003, they were an Independent Entrepreneur for Principle, a Project Manager for ETG China Representative Office and a Senior Sales Account Manager for Penguin Computing. From 2006 to 2009, they were a Senior Sales Manager for FastScale Technology and a Volunteer Organizer for Obama for America and EqualityMaine/Maine Freedom to Marry. From 2009 to 2011, they were the National Asian American Finance Director for the Democratic National Committee, the Deputy New England Finance Director/New England Steering Committee Deputy Director for the Democratic National Committee/Organizing for America and an Account Manager for Maxonic.

Patrick Wang began their education in 1989 at Villa Park High School. In 1993, they began studying at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they earned a BA in Chinese Studies and Economics, International Area Studies, with a focus on Corporate & Managerial Finance, Statistics, Centralized Markets: Capital Market Theory, and Intermediate. In 1997, they attended Peking University, where they studied Business, and Tsinghua University, where they studied Chinese Language. In the same year, they also attended the University of California, Los Angeles - The Anderson School of Management, where they completed an Intensive Business Chinese -- CIBER program. Lastly, in 2008, they attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they completed a Business Chinese program.
