Vasudevan Raman is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at MaxLinear since September 2023, focusing on WiFi7 MAC software features. Previously, Raman held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Quadrant FutureTEK, leading the software architecture and development of the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) for Indian Railways from January 2021 to August 2023. From 2008 to 2021, Raman worked at Cisco Systems, initially as a Software Engineer and then as a Technical Leader, specializing in IP Multicast and security development for the Data Center OS. Earlier experiences include positions at Atheros Communications, IBM India, and AU-KBC Research Centre, with a strong foundation in wireless LAN software development and project consultation. Raman holds a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Anna University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras.
