Hemanth Gokhale is a Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer at MaxLinear, a position held since May 2021, where focus is on the development of Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) technology, specifically working on MLO and other Wi-Fi 7 features in both host and firmware. Previously, Hemanth served as a Staff Software Engineer at MaxLinear, concentrating on WLAN 802.11 protocol and driver development. Between July 2010 and May 2021, Hemanth was a Tech Lead at Global Edge Software Ltd., specializing in WLAN and Bluetooth power testing, along with automation using Perl, and progressed through roles as Module Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer, contributing to BREW Mobile Platform application development and SPI controller driver development for the SPEAR300 board. Hemanth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from PACE Mangalore, earned in 2010, and completed S.S.L.C at Bhuvanendra High School in Karnataka from 2001 to 2004.
