Megan Hardy is an Associate Scientist I at Maxion Therapeutics since September 2023. In addition to this role, Megan has been providing academic support as a Tutor with Crimson Education since May 2022 and with VIPTutors co since December 2021, focusing on personal statement editing and mock interviews. Previous experience includes working as a Medical Writer at Cuttsy+Cuttsy from October 2022 to September 2023 and internships at the University of Cambridge's Department of Biochemistry and Department of Genetics, where research on cyanobacterial proteins and protein asymmetries in yeast was conducted, respectively. Earlier internships at the Institute of Metabolic Science involved optimizing gene knockout techniques. Megan holds a Masterā€™s degree in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2022.
