Aneesh Karatt Vellatt is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biotechnology and antibody engineering. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer and Board Director at Maxion Therapeutics since November 2020, Vellatt previously co-founded IONTAS Ltd, where significant contributions included the development of KnotBody technology and leadership in various antibody discovery projects from October 2012 to October 2020. Earlier roles included research positions at the University of Cambridge, MedImmune, and Wyeth Research Aberdeen, focusing on molecular biology and therapeutic antibody engineering. Aneesh Karatt Vellatt holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Medical Biotechnology with Biobusiness from the University of Aberdeen, and a BSc in Biotechnology from Bharathiar University.
