Vineta Smilga has extensive experience in property management. Vineta started their career as a Property Manager at BPT Real Estate in 2009 and held this role until 2017. Vineta then joined VAS "Valsts nekustamie īpašumi" / State Real Estate in Latvia as a Property Manager in 2018. In 2019, they became the Head of the real estate lease unit at Maxima Latvija.

Vineta Smilga pursued their education in the field of Business Administration and Management. Vineta began their academic journey in 1997 at Latvijas Universitate, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. This program spanned from 1997 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, Vineta furthered their education by enrolling in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Biznesa augstskola Turība.
