Paul I McDonnell serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Maxim Crane Works, LP, and as a member of the Board of Directors at Boart Longyear, since November 2021. Prior to these roles, McDonnell was associated with United Rentals from September 1999 to December 2021, where titles included Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Executive Vice President of Sales & Specialty Operations. During tenure at United Rentals, notable achievements included driving specialty rentals growth by 33% CAGR from 2012 to 2019 and generating $1 billion in revenue for the specialty division through strategic initiatives and operational expansion. Earlier positions also included Senior Vice President roles focused on sales and specialty operations, as well as Regional Vice President, where McDonnell successfully expanded operations and revenue significantly across North America. Additionally, McDonnell held the position of General Manager at D&E Steel Plate Rental from January 1995 to September 1999.
