Renante Refamonte is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and product introduction, currently serving as the New Product Introduction Manager at Maxeon Solar Technologies since April 2020. Prior to this role, Renante held various positions at SunPower Corporation from December 2006 to April 2020, including NPI Sr Staff Engineer, NPI Manager, and Staff R&D Engineer, focusing on the exploration and qualification of materials for photovoltaic modules as well as process development for manufacturing. Additionally, Renante worked as a Supplier Quality Engineer, conducting audits to ensure supplier quality and coordinating resolution of material quality issues. Earlier experience includes serving as a Quality Engineer at First Sumiden Circuits Inc., where Renante ensured product quality and resolved customer issues. Renante’s academic background includes a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Mapúa University and a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
