Aslam Hameed has over 30 years of extensive experience in finance and administration, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Mawared House since February 2008. In this role, Aslam oversees the financial operations of subsidiaries and associate companies across the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to this, Aslam held key positions including Operations Manager at First Investment Company and Financial Controller at Trade World in Botswana. Aslam's career also includes roles such as Accounts & Administration Controller at Al Mulla Group in Kuwait, Chief Accountant at Ceylinco Real Estate & Housing Company Ltd, and Manager at Burah, Hathy & Co. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Colombo and a chartered accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, along with a foundational education at Jaffna Hindu College.
