Cory Kesecker is a seasoned Cyber Defense Engineer with extensive experience in cybersecurity and network engineering. Currently leading the cyber hunt and threat analysis team at Maveris since December 2017, Kesecker plays a critical role within the VA's Cybersecurity Operations Center. Prior to Maveris, Kesecker served as a Research and Development Specialist and held various technical roles including Principal Systems Engineer at B&D Consulting, Senior Network Engineer at NES Associates supporting DISA, and Network Architect for the VA Network Security Operations Center. Kesecker's earlier experience includes roles at Netconn Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed computer network defense and network engineering. Kesecker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from West Virginia University.
