Michael Leonard began their work experience as an Events Production Supervisor at Iowa State University in 2011, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, they joined MAVERICK Technologies, A Rockwell Automation Company. Michael started as an Engineering Intern in December 2014 and worked until April 2015. Michael then served as an Engineer I from April 2015 to April 2017. From April 2017 to February 2021, they worked as an Engineer II at the company. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Engineer at MAVERICK Technologies, starting in February 2021.

From 2008 to 2013, Michael Leonard attended Iowa State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
