Alexa Ekberg has a diverse work experience. Alexa began their career in 2014 as a Production Assistant for the Media, Journalism and Film Department at Miami University. In 2015, they interned at Nancy Mosser Casting and the Pittsburgh Film Office. In 2017, they joined Maven Machines as a Senior Product Manager, then moved to a Product Manager role before taking on the role of Account Manager. In this role, they were responsible for numerous strategic enterprise accounts and served as the primary contact for customers' senior executives and management. Alexa also led a four-person Customer Success Team and acted as a customer conduit for user research and usability testing. Finally, they were a Customer Success Manager, providing customer support and onboarding efforts to Maven's entire network of users, conducting on-site and remote training and onboarding sessions, and creating training videos and detailed training documentation.
Alexa Ekberg graduated from Miami University in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Media and Culture and Comparative Religion Double Major, and a minor in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. In 2015, they attended The American University of Rome. In February 2020, Alexa obtained a Practitioner of Human-Centered Design certification from LUMA Institute.
