Niharika Kalla's work experience begins in 2012 when they interned at Howard County General Hospital. During their time there, they observed various procedures in the operating room and gained exposure to multiple departments within the hospital. In 2014, they interned at St. Agnes Medical Group, where they developed their patient interaction skills and learned about the collaboration required among different departments for providing customized treatment. In the same year, they also worked as a teacher at CATS Camp. In 2015, Niharika became a research assistant at the University of Maryland, and they also started writing monthly articles for Society19, with a focus on the University of Maryland community. Niharika received recognition for one of their articles, which earned over 490 shares. In 2016, they became a campus representative for Spitball. In 2017, Niharika took on new roles at Verizon as a Health and Wellness Coordinator and at Maven Clinic as a Brand Ambassador.
Niharika Kalla obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland. Niharika attended the university from 2013 to 2017.
