Matthew Taila has a strong background in software development, with a focus on Android development. Matthew most recently worked at Maven Clinic as a Senior Software Development Engineer starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Android Developer at Fuzzy from May 2021 to February 2023. Before joining Fuzzy, they were an Android Engineer at Powerley from March 2019 to May 2021. Matthew also worked as a Junior Android Developer at Powerley from February 2017 to March 2019. Matthew gained experience in Android development at StockX, where they worked as an Android Engineer from December 2018 to March 2019.

Matthew Taila completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Genetics from Queen Mary University of London, studying from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Molecular Biology (M.Sc) with a focus on Human/Medical Genetics at Imperial College London from 2009 to 2010.
