Benjamin TOURNE has been working in the software industry since 2005. In 2005, they began working at Datacard Corporation as an Engineer Software, where they were responsible for creating a prototype of a new machine for vision counting of plastic cards such as bank cards. Benjamin also researched new software algorithms for signal and image processing. In 2008, they joined Mauna Kea Technologies as a Lead Software Developer and UI specialist, where they provided technical solutions to customer needs in relation to architecture, and defined software development best practices. Benjamin also managed two software projects, one for an acquisition software associated with a new type of imaging device, and the other for a production software associated with the same device. Benjamin also managed a new software project for medical image visualization, with two developers located in Saigon.
Benjamin TOURNE received their Master degree in 2003 from Université de Bordeaux in the field of Master Calcul scientifique et applications. From 2000 to 2003, they studied at ENSEIRB-MATMECA and obtained an Ingénieur degree in Electronique. Prior to that, they attended Classe préparatoire Lycée Pothier Orléans from 1997 to 2000.
