Bernardo Donoso is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Currently serving as a Senior MTS Mechanical Engineer at Mattson Technology since April 2020, Bernardo specializes in the design and development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Previously, as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Kateeva from November 2016 to January 2020, Bernardo focused on state-of-the-art inkjet manufacturing equipment for the OLED sector. Bernardo also held the position of Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Intermolecular, where the engineering development of wafer processing systems was a key responsibility, and worked at Lam Research on mechanical design for wafer etch and wet cleaning systems. Bernardo's early career includes a role as Technical Staff Engineer at Applied Materials, contributing to mechanical designs for copper electroplating and CVD process modules. Bernardo achieved a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University.
