Valerie Taylor has extensive work experience in both corporate and freelance settings. In 2000, they began their career as a Music Professional, working as a pianist, keyboardist, organist, singer, composer, and arranger for various musical groups and projects. Valerie'sexpertise spans across multiple genres including rock, funk, Latin, R&B, jazz, classical, musical theater, avant-garde, Americana, and blues. Valerie's proficiency in orchestration and transcription, utilizing both computer programs and handwritten methods, enhances their musical abilities. In 2007, they joined Matthews Studio Equipment, Inc. and held various roles within the company, including Human Resources Director and Marketing Executive. Most recently, they served as the Vice President from July 2019 onwards.

Valerie Taylor holds a Bachelor's Degree from UC Santa Barbara. Valerie later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Northridge, which they completed in 2019. In addition, they obtained a certification in Design Thinking: Data Intelligence from Lynda.com in 2018.
