James Hester is currently the Head of Ontology at Mattereum since September 2018. James is the Founder of Applied History, where James serves as a Consulting Historian/Strategist. Additionally, James is the Founder and Instructor at The School of Mars, a contemporary school of European martial arts. With a strong academic background, James holds a PhD in History from the University of Southampton. James has a diverse range of experience in historical research, museum curation, and strategic consulting.
