Damir V. has extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources and people operations. From 2023, they have been working as the Global People Operations Manager at Matter Labs. Prior to that, they founded HumaBit HR in 2019, where they supported disruptive tech start-ups in all people-related matters. Damir also worked as the People Operations Manager at NEAR Foundation from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they were the Human Resources Manager and Acting Head of HR at Web3 Foundation from 2019 to 2021. Damir started their career at Bayer in 2017, where they worked as an HR Services Professional and HR Specialist Payroll. Damir also gained experience as a Consultant at PwC in 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked at MSD as a Payroll Specialist and HRSS Associate from 2013 to 2016, and at Biogen as a Finance Associate and Commercial apprentice from 2009 to 2013.

Damir V. began their education in 2009 at the KBZ Kaufmännisches Bildungszentrum Luzern, where they pursued a field of study in Dienstleistung und Administration. Damir completed their studies there in 2012, obtaining the degree of Eid. Kaufmann mit erweitereter Grundbildung.

In 2013, Damir enrolled at KV Luzern Berufsakademie and studied Sozialversicherungen, earning the diploma of dipl. Sachbearbeiter Sozialversicherungen edupool.ch in 2014.

Damir then continued their education at the same institution in 2015, this time focusing on the field of HR. Damir obtained the degree of Sachbearbeiter Personalwesen in the same year.

Between 2015 and 2018, Damir attended GET Kaderschule, where they pursued Corporate Human Resources Management. Damir graduated with the degree of Personalfachmann eidg. Fachausweis / Professional Bachelor in Human Resources.

In terms of certifications, Damir obtained the certificate of Kaufmann erweiterte Grundbildung in 2012 from Schweizerische Eidgenossenschaft. Damir also acquired the certifications of Dipl. Sb Sozialversicherungen edupool.ch/KV Schweiz/SVS N/O, Zertifizierter Sachbearbeiter Personalwesen / Zertifizierter Personalassistent, and HR Fachmann - Fachrichtung Betriebliches Human Resource Management in the years 2014, 2015, and 2017 respectively.

Most recently, in 2022, Damir completed the Hype-Free Crypto & DeFi Course from Hype-Free Crypto.
