Tiana Lineger has a strong background in environmental science and management. Tiana started their career in 2002 as an Environmental Technologist at EAI Environmental Associates Inc. After three years in that role, they joined SEACOR Environmental Inc. as a Project Manager in 2006. In 2007, Lineger moved on to SLR Consulting, where they worked as an Environmental Scientist for over a decade. Most recently, in 2019, Lineger joined Matrix Solutions Inc. as a Senior Environmental Scientist.

Tiana Lineger started their education in 1998 at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), where they pursued a degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Renewable Resources. Tiana completed this program in 2000. Following that, they enrolled in the University of Calgary in 2001 and studied Environmental Science for their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. Their studies at the University of Calgary lasted until 2009.
