Mohamed Ali began their work experience in 2016 as a Field Engineer at EllisDon. Mohamed then worked as a Corrosion Engineer at Aegion Corporation from May 2021 to June 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Civil Engineer In Training at Matrix Solutions Inc. since August 2022.

Mohamed Ali obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Concordia University from 2014 to 2019. Mohamed also obtained several additional certifications during their education, including WHMIS 1988 for Laboratory Personnel and WHMIS 2015 from Concordia University in November 2016. Mohamed earned the LEED Green Associate (GA) certification from LeadingGreen Training and Consulting in October 2016. Mohamed also obtained the ASP Construction certification in September 2016. In March 2016, they obtained the Working At Heights - Fundamentals of Fall Protection certification from the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA). Lastly, in January 2016, Mohamed obtained the Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness in 5 Steps certification from the Ministry of Labour.
