Melissa Lenders has extensive experience in the IT field. Melissa started their career in 2003 as a Software Developer at Idisis, Inc., where they worked until 2005. Melissa then moved on to Godfrey Morrow Insurance, where they served as a System Administrator from 2005 to 2008. Melissa then worked as a Self-Employed IT Consultant from 2008 to 2010 before joining Versalt Inc. as an IT Consultant, a role they held until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Melissa worked as an IT Manager at Genesis Land Development Corp. Melissa then became a Self-Employed IT Consultant again from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, Melissa has been working at Matrix Solutions Inc., first as an IT Infrastructure Analyst until 2020, and currently as a Software Developer.

Melissa Lenders attended James Fowler High School from 1995 to 1997, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. After completing high school, they enrolled in DeVry Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. In 2016, Melissa Lenders furthered their education by attending the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) for one year, focusing on Project Management. Melissa did not specify if they obtained a degree in Project Management from SAIT.
