Kevin Svrcek has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kevin has worked as an Environmental Scientist at Matrix Solutions Inc. since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Junior Environmental Scientist at Vertex Resource Group Ltd. from June 2021 to May 2023. Before entering the environmental field, Kevin worked as a Seed Process Operator at BASF from October 2020 to April 2021. Kevin also gained research experience in the agriculture sector, working as a Soil and Compost Research Assistant at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in May 2019, and as a Weed Ecology/Cropping Systems Research Assistant at the same organization in May 2018. Kevin has also worked as a Research Assistant at Monsanto Company in May 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Host at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar from March 2013 to October 2015.

Kevin Svrcek completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from The University of Lethbridge from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Supervising Ground Disturbance from Astec Safety Inc in June 2021 and Standard First Aid from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean in May 2021.
