Jaren Koning has work experience as a GIS Analyst at Matrix Solutions Inc. since February 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary from May 2016 to August 2016. Jaren also has experience as a GIS Intern at Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd in 2015 and at Matrix Solutions, Inc. in 2014. Jaren'searliest work experience was as Ground Staff at Heritage Park Historical Village in 2013.

Jaren Koning attended Centennial High School from 2010 to 2012, and completed their education at the University of Calgary from 2013 to 2016. At the University of Calgary, Jaren earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a major in Geography.
