Henri de Pennart has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Henri began their career as a research assistant at the University of Calgary from 1993 to 1995. Henri then worked as a Senior Biologist at Aquatic Resources Management in 1997 and at Alpine Environmental Ltd. from 2000 to 2008. Henri also served as a Senior Project Biologist at Keystone Environmental from 1998 to 2000. Henri further enhanced their expertise as a Sr Environmental Scientist at ERM: Environmental Resources Management from 2008 to 2010. Currently, Henri is employed as a Principal Scientist at Matrix Solutions, Inc., where they have been serving in this role since August 2015.

Henri de Pennart pursued their education in the field of Developmental Biology at the Universite Paris VI. From 1986 to 1988, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in this field. Later, from 1989 to 1993, they continued their academic journey and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the same institution, still specializing in Developmental Biology.
