Matt Sloane, AICP, is a seasoned environmental planner and project manager with extensive experience in urban and environmental planning. Currently at Matrix New World Engineering, a position held since January 2021, Matt specializes in environmental planning review frameworks including NEPA, SEQRA, and CEQR. Prior roles include participation in the Columbia Startup Lab, independent consulting services, and a senior planner position at WSP USA. Matt has a strong academic background with a Master's degree from Pratt Institute and certificates in Geographic Information Science and Data Science. Skills include technical writing, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and proficiency in GIS-based software and Python for geospatial analysis.
