John Sorensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John started their career in the United States Air Force in 1986, where they worked in health services management for 10 years. In 1997, Sorensen joined TriWest Healthcare Alliance as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development, where they focused on recruiting top talent and implementing innovative learning solutions. After leaving TriWest in 2012, Sorensen joined Rural/Metro Corporation as the Director of Talent Management and Learning, leading the talent development and acquisition efforts. During their time there, they implemented a cost-effective enterprise learning platform and developed comprehensive learning solutions. In 2017, Sorensen joined Matrix Medical Network as the Director of Learning and Development, where they designed and implemented an advanced enterprise learning platform and automation systems to serve thousands of clinicians and support staff nationwide.
John Sorensen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix between 1992 and 1994. In 2010, they received a Certificate in Employee Relations Law from the Institute for Applied Management & Law, Inc. Additionally, they completed an internship in e-Learning Production and Management through the e-Learning Business Partnership Program at TraCorp Inc. in 2000.
