Gilbert Keller has an extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology. Gilbert started their career in 1988 as a Senior Research and Development Scientist at Genentech. In 2002, they joined Diadexus as Director of Pharmacology and Pathology, where they worked on anti-breast and ovary-cell surface antigen 1 for the treatment of ovarian cancer. In 2006, they moved to Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. as Executive Director & Senior Fellow Researcher. In 2015, they founded MatriSys Bioscience, Inc., where they serve as Founder and Vice President - Preclinical Sciences. At MatriSys Bioscience, Inc., they are developing therapies for the top dermatology and skin care conditions such as Acne, Atopic Dermatitis (AD), Rosacea, Psoriasis, and Skin Infections.
Gilbert Keller obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from the University of Geneva and studied Cell Biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
