Eda Aydemir has extensive experience in the field of mathematics education. Since 2021, they have worked as a Curriculum Developer at Amplify. Prior to that, they worked as a Math Curriculum & Content Writer at Mathigon starting in 2020. In 2019, they were a Math Writer at Math Fan.

Before their work in curriculum development and writing, Eda Aydemir had a long career in teaching mathematics. From 2013 to 2019, they served as the Head of Middle School Mathematics Department at VKV Koç Özel İÖO ve Lisesi. During this time, they also worked as a Mathematics Teacher & Level Leader, where they designed teaching materials, maintained a comfortable classroom atmosphere, and interacted with students, parents, and faculty. Eda began their teaching career in 2003 at FMV Işık Okulları, where they worked as a Mathematics Teacher until 2004.

Eda Aydemir began their education at Boğaziçi University in 1998 and completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics Education in 2003. In 2011, they pursued further studies at Yeditepe University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision in 2012. Continuing their academic journey, Eda enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2019 and completed a Micromaster degree in Instructional Design and Technology in 2021. Additionally, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Instructional Design Course Evaluation & Capstone Project in January 2021.
