Maria Gabriela Salvador's work experience includes various roles in the healthcare and international development sectors.

Maria Gabriela is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Maternova, Inc. since March 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at AmeriCares from January 2018 to November 2020, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Director for Latin America and the Caribbean. In these roles, they were responsible for global access to donated medicine and medical supplies, supply chain management, emergency response, and global health operations and programs.

From December 2016 to January 2018, Maria Gabriela Salvador was the Senior Director of Health at the Grameen Foundation. Maria Gabriela was also the Senior Director of Microfinance and Health Protection at Freedom from Hunger from September 2014 to January 2018.

Before joining these organizations, they worked as the Chief Health and Human Development Officer at Pro Mujer International from 2010 to August 2014.

Maria Gabriela Salvador also has experience as an independent consultant for health programs in Latin America from September 2008 to September 2010.

Earlier in their career, they worked as an Ophthalmologist in private practice at the Mendez Vision Institute from April 2002 to June 2006. Maria Gabriela also served as a faculty member at the University Baja California Medical School from September 2003 to 2006.

Maria Gabriela Salvador completed their Fellowship in Ophthalmic Surgery at the University of California Irvine and Cedars Sinai Medical Center from June 1999 to 2001. Maria Gabriela obtained their medical degree in Argentina in 1991.

Maria Gabriela Salvador attended Harvard University from 2007 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in MPH. During the same time, they also studied at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, specializing in Policy and Management. Prior to their time at Harvard, Maria's education history is unclear, as there is no information regarding their attendance or degree from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina, or the University of California Irvine.
