Burkhard Franz is an experienced executive with a strong background in operations and service management. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations and VP of Global Service Management at Materna IPS GmbH since June 2021, Burkhard has held significant roles within the Lufthansa Group, including Director of Service Management and Director of Business Development at Lufthansa Revenue Services GmbH. Prior to these positions, Burkhard worked as an Interim Manager and held various roles in sales and marketing at Lufthansa Systems, as well as consulting at DaimlerChrysler Star Cooperation. Burkhard holds an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master’s Degree in International Business from ESB Business School, complemented by academic experiences at Bishop's University and Université de Sherbrooke.
