Mark DeHoog is a seasoned geologist and engineer with extensive experience in exploration and project management within the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Materials Testing Consultants, Mark has held various roles in the company, including Staff Engineer and Laboratory Technician. Prior experience includes positions as an Exploration Geologist at Eagle Mine, where Mark discovered a new mineralized zone and received a Special Recognition award, and at Rio Tinto, contributing to an increased mine life. Mark has demonstrated expertise in supervising drilling operations, training teams, and managing safety culture, with early career experience in similar roles at Teck Resources Limited and Midas Gold.
