Raj Iyengar is an accomplished professional in the field of medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Matchpoint Therapeutics since August 2023. Previously, Raj held the position of Vice President of Chemistry at Caraway Therapeutics, Inc. from April 2020 to August 2023, and served as Program Lead at Cyclerion from April 2019 to April 2020. Raj's extensive experience includes roles as Research Fellow/Program Lead, Senior Principal Investigator, and Discovery Project Lead at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals from May 2011 to April 2019, and Principal Scientist at Enanta Pharmaceuticals from March 2007 to May 2011. Early in the career, Raj worked as an Associate Research Investigator at Abbott Laboratories from May 2001 to February 2007. Raj Iyengar holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from The University of Kansas and an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai.
