Amalia Sörlien is an experienced UX Designer currently working at MATCHi since May 2021, focusing on Mobile Device Projection, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in a dual role as End User Function Owner and Engineering Task Leader at Volvo Group Trucks Technology from August 2018 to May 2021. Prior to this, Amalia served as a Human Machine Interface Engineer at Volvo, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance an Android-based service and entertainment system. Amalia’s professional background includes positions as a Technology Operator at Verisure, conducting first-line technology support, and completing a Master Thesis on energy harvesting at Epishine. Earlier roles involved translation coordination for Sandvik Coromant and quality control inspection at SANDVIK P&P, with initial experience as a communicator at Publikator i Norden AB. Amalia holds a Master's degree in Design Engineering from Linköping University, supplemented by studies at San Diego State University, and a technical high school diploma focused on automation.
