Cindy leads the implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and employee relations for the Matagorda County Hospital District.

She was first hired as a Human Resources Assistant in 1991 before being promoted to the District Director of Human Resources in 1998. In 2014, Cindy also began serving as the Administrative Liaison to the MRMC Auxiliary Volunteer organization.

Cindy has been with the Matagorda County Hospital District for over 27 years and has successfully managed employee benefits, wage and salary administration, recruiting, and worker's compensation throughout her career. She received a Pinnacle Achiever Award for Program Director in 2012 and the Summit Award for Program Director in 2013 from the Custom Learning Systems for her outstanding leadership of the MRMC Service Excellence initiative.

Cindy obtained an associate' Degree in General Studies from Brazosport College and possesses nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare administration.
