Doree Simon has worked in various production and production-related roles since 2010. In 2010, they were a Production and Development Intern for The American Film Company and a Youth Programs Intern for the Tribeca Film Institute. In 2011, they were a Law Clerk for Talarico, Paladino & Berg, a Producer for Demand Media, and a Co-Director for 99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film. In 2013, they were a Producer for Live Star Entertainment LLC. In 2014, they were a Branded Content Producer for VICE Media, Inc. and a freelance Producer and Director for doreesimon.com. Since 2016, they have been the Director of Production, Head of Branded Content Production, and Supervising Producer for Matador Network.
Doree Simon attended John Carroll University from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Business Management and Communications. Doree then attended Loyola University Chicago John Felice Rome Center in 2009, where they completed coursework in International Business and Italian Arts, Language, and Culture. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business of Entertainment, Film Production from New York University in 2011.
