Jie Hng Tan is a co-founder and technical lead at MastPlot since January 2024, where a team of developers is led in employing Agile methodologies for product feature development and creating real-time data analysis ETL pipelines in Python. Currently serving as a Senior Automation Engineer at ST Engineering since May 2021, Jie Hng Tan has expertise in SCADA, PLC, OPC UA, and Python, having spearheaded the integration of SCADA systems for ship management and established programming and network architecture for the team. Previous roles include Management Support Executive at the Ministry of Social and Family Development in Singapore from July 2020 to May 2021 and Data Analytics Engineer Intern at Air Liquide from July 2019 to December 2019, focusing on data analytics and automation projects. Jie Hng Tan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Aeronautical Specialisation from the National University of Singapore and completed a Spring Semester Exchange at ISAE-SUPAERO in 2020.
